For whatever reason, people don't want him. I don't understand it. This guy has recruited and coached some of the best players in the NBA right now. Yes that was at UCLA and that is easier to recruit players to but you'd think that'd have some effect on recruits "I coached Kevin Love. I coached Russell Westbrook. Come to Bama and I'll coach you."

There appears to be some smoke about Tom Crean to Bama after the Tournament on the IU site
