Not in the slightest!

SIV that evolved into HIV-1 likely originated with the bushmeat (or eating apes/chimps).

SIV that evolved into HIV-2 also came from the bushmeat trade and a few transmissions were due to hunters who kept them as pets and got bitten/exchanged blood. Hunters in general would have cuts, bites and scratches where blood could get in.

However, the bushmeat trade was responsible for the jump/evolution to humans. Keep in mind that apes and chimps are ~98 percent human and many diseases can be contracted between the two. While much like today it was still blood borne, SIV was able to finally jump because so much bushmeat equaled the meat trade. They'd slaughter/butcher, prep and handle infected meat with cuts etc.

So no. He could not be more wrong about how it made it's way to humans (also consider: a chimp or an ape could kill the strongest man alive in a heartbeat). Exposure to infected blood be it with cuts, bites, lacerations, or even tiny tears the person can't see, much like with modern HIV, is the culprit. THAT allows it in.

ETA: It does appear to be the method for certain unnamed schools. How they acquired chimps/apes to have sex with is anyone's guess.

Nah, the most likely origin is the bush meat industry in central and west Africa back in the first half of the 20th century. The earliest reported cases of what we now believe to be HIV were seen in those involved in the killing and skinning of small primates.
