Really, Republicans. You don't have to feel obligated to defend a scumbag just because he's on your "side." It's okay to occasionally cut ties with someone and just completely decry their actions and not try to spin stuff to attack DHS or liberals.

Harris also referenced a book in this piece written by Quack-ologist Nancy Thomas, here is a taste of what she believes:
"The infantile rage they often internalize that first year … makes them fascinated with destruction, fire, blood, gore and evil. They often identify with the devil."
— When Love is Not Enough (1997), p. 20
"Most of them actually worship the devil and pray to the devil."
"I had one little boy who was in a ritualistic cult. … He had been a cannibal and had taken part in the rituals. He knew how to worship Satan, full blown.…"
"Blood, fire and gore … all ritualistic abuse is followed by this preoccupation. A doctor who I worked with … said that they implant in their mind through something like hypnosis for them to come back to the cult at a certain age — usually about 14 or 15 — the time when they impregnate them so that they can use the fetuses for some of the ceremonies. This is planted into the unconscious of the small child so that when she reaches that birthday, she will start to seek them out. … so if you suspect this, check it out."?

It's way easier to be told how to think than to formulate an opinion.

The Times is the only paper that actually does any investigating in Arkansas. Sad that people don't take them seriously because they hate Max Brantley.
No. No one takes them seriously because the vast majority of their writers are spineless liberal p*ssies.

Too bad the other papers are starting to pick up on this story as well.

A state representative under fire for rehoming his adopted daughters with another family has blamed lack of support from the Arkansas Department of Human Services as the reason the children were rehomed. According to DHS records, Harris has received more than $4 million in public funds from DHS programs through his preschool since 2010.

He is scum. I don't care if he is a Republican, Democrat, or a member of the Monster Raving Looney Party. He is scum. Toss him out on his backside. Who cares what party he swears allegiance too? He needs to go.

I have never even heard or "rehoming" before this. It's an appalling concept and my heart breaks for those girls. Harris is so odd it is difficult to believe he was elected. He should resign and be investigated. DHS should be investigated too, and held to a higher standard. And everyone of us should demand our legislature look into this and fix a broken situation so this doesn't happen again.
