I have seen him play really well vs elite competition. But there is still a difference in picking someone up off a screen and straight up guarding someone. He could not line up and guard a PG or SG who is coming off of off-the-ball screens, curls, flairs, running in transition etc..

Except he does. That's what we're saying. It's what has made his defense unique this season.
