The thing which raises the most alarms is that Wall and Cousins had verbally committed to Memphis before Calipari left for Kentucky. Plus Calipari also got Derrick Rose and Tyreke Evans to go there as well. How was one coach able to convince all these great players to go to Memphis, a city which isn't anything to write home about and a program that plays in a Mickey Mouse conference? It makes me believe there is or at least was something to the Worldwide Wes connection.

Well, of course there's something to the WWW connection. WWW is a talent scout/consultant. He searches out the best prospects and then lets Coach know whom to pursue.

When Rick Pitino was at UK, he had his version of WWW, Jersey Red (IIRC). That relationship worked rather well, too.
