Wooden bats & 7 inning games leading to a 2 - 2 1/2 hr. game would get me there more often than I go...

3 - 4 hr slow arse games in Feb.- Mar. are mind numbing if you're there purely for the game, was different when I was in school & it was a 5 min. walk instead of a 90 min ride to Foley field... JMO...

High School baseball at West Lauderdale is a better product than most colleges. Would rather spend the time there

I also hate all the unspoken rules of baseball.

And the fact that it's required to wear a gold chain cross if you're a baseball player.

Now I just don't go early when it's cold. I love it but can't sit in the cold to watch baseball. But, if you are honest about mind numbing, consider the 4 hour CBS games in football with the guy in the red hat. All tv games have gotten too long in football.

Love baseball. However, college programs north of the Mason-Dixon Line generally do not win National Championships in Baseball.

Do fans in the Big 10 really get fired up for an outdoor sport when it is 20 degrees in March ?

As mentioned , big time stud players take the money and head for the minors.

Problems with steroid use in the MLB has caused disinterest in the game.

56 regular season games. + tourney and regionals + cws = too many games.
