Adding Kansas would 100% force the SECN onto all basic cable packages in Kansas. That isnt adding nothing.

10 Million in North Carolina >>> 3 Million people in Kansas. They add nothing of interest to the conference. They're worthless in the game of realignment.

Using your argument, even the state of North Dakota would be worth something. But let's face it, its not. SEC isn't going to settle for 3 million people and its billion rows of corn. Midwest is dying. They've only added 1 million people to their population since the late 1940s. They have also declined in population growth from 8.5% in 2000 to 6.1% in 2010.

I stand by my statement. Kansas is worthless.

Again, I am not arguing that Kansas is worth more than North Carolina so I don't know why you keep bringing it up like it means something.

One more time, ESPN is not going to destroy the ACC, which they essentially own the entirety of aside from some Raycom games, to add schools to the SEC. Its NOT going to happen so its pointless to bring up any ACC schools. (never mind that they also have a network planned for around 2016)

Well then you are standing by being flat out wrong. Dunno why you feel the need to dig on this. Nobody is saying Kansas is better than a (major) school from NC or VA. They aren't. But to say they are worthless is just flat out wrong and is completely oblivious to the entire purpose of the SECN. You may as well be one of the people that bring up adding Clemson and Florida State when you say Kansas has zero worth.

and PS, comparing the impact of Big East schools which are all small private religious based to a large state school like Kansas is just silly.
