State's most prominent are probably Ron Polk, Raphael Palmeiro, Jonathan Papelbon, Buck Showalter, Will Clark, Bobby Thigpen, Boo Ferris.

the only advantage bammer has over state is regular season championships and the great majority of tjhose championships came when absolutely nobody cared about college baseball

They also don't have this. State has 16 conference championships, not 10.

They've had Palmeiro, Will Clark and Papelbon and I feel like I'm forgetting a really big name.
