I think after Saban leaves that Bama won't be as attractive of a job. He's just been too damn good, and the fan base won't accept anything less IMO. Of course they have the recognition and prestige, but I think the coach after Saban is going to really have his hands full trying to meet expectations.

While it will be tough to fill his shoes, they have resources galore. You're kidding yourself.

That entire fanbase is going to have an aneurysm when their next coach is average

I don't see the job being unattractive after Saban. I do see the next coach failing and being fired rather quickly. Which is why I want Dabo. He can recuit with the best of them so at least our cupboard will be full for the guy after him. Dabo can be our sacrafical lamb while keeping the talent up to snuff.

Put your hatred aside, Bama is always gonna be in the top 5. The University support, the facilities, the fan support, the national caché, tradition etc. is 2nd to none. The expectations are off the chart but the best of the best will always wanna give it a go in Tuscaloosa just to see if they can measure up. It takes a special kinda coach but even as an UGA fan I can admit it's a special place...
