What's better, really high highs followed by lows, or just average all the time? OM may not have had the clunker type year we had in '12, but they also haven't sniffed an SEC or national title either.

I'm sure Urban's spread will get figured out aaaaaaaaaaaaaany day now. That gimmick has only been working for over 10 years for him now.

But I agree that the "figuring out an offense" argument is pretty stupid and it almost never plays out that way.
