Gurley-We did win games without him AND lose games with him.

We can NOT win the new SEC with a run primarily offense. We learned the last two years that depth at RB is not what you think it is. Our ability to back the defense off the line is important to the overall running game. We had so many long runs because teams did stack the box. We have to bring back the deep(er) threat into our passing game.

ok...and? We won games with and without herschel too. We've won games with and without chubb too. What does your statement have to do with how good of a RB Gurley is?

Of course you can. The SEC has always been built on defense and that's not changing. I realize the spread is the "new thing", but alabama has BY FAR, without question, been the most elite, premiere program in the country since 2008 and they've done it with the same old pro-style offense and strong game philosophy as us. Just so happens they've had elite defense as well.

After following the back and forth here, I know you are just about married to your argument...but these statements are laughable.
