Why? Anderson is rebuilding at a reasonable rate. Pearl rebuilds quickly, but leaves a devastating wake when he moves on.
Not sure why anyone would want any part of that.
We had that experience with Petrino. Don't want to do that again.

Not even close. Rick Barnes and Roy Williams deserve the most discussion in this area. It's absolutely criminal Barnes only made one Final Four with all that talent he had.
As far as Roy, he inherited the talent for his first national title and that whole academic fraud scandal deserves to be a shadow on his legacy.
I think Pearl is one of the Top 20 coaches in the country. The fact he has a Top 10 recruiting class at Auburn is phenomenal and recruiting is the most important part of the job.
