AJ McCarron has been listed a lot, but he beat the shite out of people for 3 years and won 2 National Championships and is currently in the NFL.

He lost a total of 4 games in 3 years and set all kinds of Bama passing records.

Is currently a back up in the NFL. His team was great around him. Blake Sims was better overall.

Well to be fair, Andre Woodson apparently made the first page despite breaking Trent Dilfer's NCAA record of 271 consecutive passes without an INT and breaking Danny Wuerffel's record for SEC passing TDs in a season. I think people may need to re-evaluate their definition of terrible or mediocre.

What is he, 3rd or 4th string?

By himself? He had some pretty great players around him and he played on some great teams. He was nothing more than mediocre in 2011 (as I mentioned in my post), improved a ton in 2012, and then took a small step back in 2013, IMO.
