Coincidence or Not with SEC Basketball Standings

It appears that playing UK only once during the season has a pretty big impact on the SEC rankings this season. If you look at the rankings, the schools with the best SEC records are all the schools that only play UK once this season. Teams 2-5 play once.
As a fan of a team that isn't a factor in the SEC race, I just wanted to point this out.

teams facing the best team in america twice will have more losses and drop in the standings compared to those who only play them once?

Kentucky is avoiding the better teams in order to give themselves a shot at a perfect record.

Just pointing out that when the SEC tourney comes, teams seeded 2-5 might not be that much better than teams 6-10. Should make for a good tourney on the other side of the bracket from UK.

we played them twice last season and beat them both- didn't do us any good????

Well if those teams are within a game you will have a point. If not I'm pretty sure you don't.

Actually we have to play a much more difficult OOC schedule because you blow so hard.

You are 100% correct. If Mizzou hadn't played Kentucky twice, we would near the top of the SEC. Thanks for pointing that out!!!!!! mind=blown
