I understand you logic, but not your attitude.... so what if a sport isn't universally popular? We love gymnastics and softball because on the day we can kick anyone's arse in it.... and there's nothing wrong with admiring and respecting the athletes and coaches that make it happen.


Or in the case of Sarah and Patrick Murphy... built it out of nothing. I almost think Murph is a little more impressive since Sarah starter her program about the same time EVERY school started theirs. Murph began in 1997 from nothing in a world with already established blue bloods out there and made a championship program anyways.

Some Bama fans have a real problem with the support we give gymnastics and softball.

I always picture them as old coots complaining about people going to watch "girl sports".
