Gosh I certainly hope so. Seemed like Bo couldn't throw the deep ball at all toward the latter 3rd of this past season. Defenses, though understandably much better than those we played earlier in the season, could just jump more of the short routes and stuff the running game because they just simply weren't very worried about getting beat deep. That and the OL couldn't hold anybody off long enough for receivers to get very far downfield.

"Kelly has better long ball then Bo did.. He will have more long passes then when Bo was QB.. "

I will say first I was very suspect at the signing of Kelly and still am. Only time will tell if he could be a distructive figure on our team....my biggest fear. No matter what anyone says, Kelly was a big chance Freeze has taken..... with that said, early reports I have gotten have been positive.

I was told he has an NFL arm (much better than Bo)....but his biggest attribute displayed is his brain. His ability to identify defenses and make decisions has been really really good. I too was impressed with Kincade towards the end of the year....and grew confident in him. I think this spring will be incredibly entertaining from a fans stand point and I can't wait to see these two go at it. One thing must be emphasized....I think we need both and both could play big roles. I don't discount Doss making a run also at the QB position. (If it is clear he will not secure it...I hope for a move to get him on the field)

Look forward to spring practice.
