So based on that, nowhere in the article did it make mention of Arkansas being the first to make a decision or "trend" on moving up.

Therefore it lead me to believe that they had decided to move up at the same time.

I'm sorry that I don't keep up with non-varsity athletics enough to know that Arkansas had decided roughly 3-4 weeks beforehand.

As of a month ago, we were the first and the only SEC school to move up. Now Alabama is moving up. That means Arkansas is still the first, but no longer the only. We set the trend that Alabama is now following.

This is like explaining basic logic to a pre-schooler.

I didn't know that and have already admitted that I didn't know that. The article linked in the OP was the first I have heard of either team moving up and that article did not make mention of the previous decision.
