Montgomery had a situation recently where some Faulkner football players decided to pull a home invasion robbery and one wound up shot dead by the resident.

In statements to the media, his father talked about how his son was a good guy, loved people, all the stuff you hear parents say but he also said "Just like the guy in Missouri and the guy in New York, my son would be alive if he wasn't breaking the law." and he was spot-on.

Maybe this new incident wasn't a justified shooting, maybe it was but there is one indisputable fact:

If he had not been throwing rocks at them he'd be alive right now. His poor choices were more responsible for his death than any other factor.

This also applies to police. They feel their highest duty is to return home safely. That's a me me me choice.
