Why would you need CBs that can be put on an island if he's not bringing pressure and he's just trying to play contain?

Think about the DBs LSU has had under Chavis, and ask yourself one question: "Why did they NEVER have a #1 passing D, and only half the time were they ranked in the top 10."

The answer: Chavis' scheme doesn't generate much pressure on the QB.

That's why you need CBs that can be put on an island.
