re: We have terrible basketball fan support

I hear ya. And honestly, I'm a much bigger fan of basketball than I am football, so I'm one of the few Aggies that would prefer to see our team win March Madness instead of the college football playoff. So believe me, the last few years of Aggie basketball have been brutal for me, and I sincerely hope that we can get this program turned around.

But I also acknowledge where I went to school. Texas A&M has always been a football school and it always will be. Doesn't mean basketball support is non-existent, because the first few years of my student life had some damn good teams under Turge, and Reed was packed and rocking. But team success (and consistent success) will be the ultimate driver of attendance.

If we are able to make the tourney this season, combined with the recruiting class we have coming in for next year, I can see Reed start to make a turn to becoming what it used to be in the past. Fingers crossed
