I'm in the middle on this. I don't think Haith would have won 20 games with this team. That team two years ago was a Sweet 16 team and the 2011-12 team should have made the Elite Eight at the very worst.
However, I do think this team should be a lot better than it is now. I think a capable head coach would have this team around .500 right now. KU turns its roster over almost every year and they're winning conference titles. I'm not saying Mizzou brings in KU caliber talent, but it seems like every year, those guys are starting three or four FR/SO. Yet, they win conference titles and 25-30 games each year.
I also think the portion of the fan base defending Kim Anderson would be murdering Haith, Mike Anderson or Quin Snyder if they had the same record at this point. MA being a "one of us" leads to blind faith.

Haith didn't say he could win 20 with this team. He said that he would of had a roster to win 20 games.
Remember he had Punter committed, averaging over 10 ppg at Tenn.
Cam was here and would of been the leading scorer.
A few 5th year transfers were looking at Mizzou that probably keep Clark as the top reserve.
And maybe Jones is still here.
I'm not sure that 20 wins would of kept him around. Each of his teams was worse than the one before.
