In regards to staff continuity, here is a great tweet that just came across my timeline. I think most fans don't realize that this stuff is happening at every school and not just their own.

@john_shinn: Average tenure for a college football assistant coach is 2 1/2 years. Recruits have to look beyond relationship with the position coach.

2 1/2 years is very surprising. maybe i'm just greedy i guess now since all the petrino, jlsmith crap we've been through i just want to not have to worry about the staff.

Also look at the impact that Robb Smith/Jennings made after being hired.

Look at the impact TCU's offensive staff made after being hired last offseason.

Continuity doesn't matter at all anymore unless top notch coordinators and play callers. Would be ideal to have them stay for at least 2 or 3 years.
