Not sure how you did all that but props to you and I can't resist, "that's pretty Deep", but so true. Over the past 30 or so years we have been above average in recruiting but nothing spectacular.

That reason is common sense, Georgia hasn't brought home the Crystal.

Hate to say it but that's pretty much the way I see it. The best players want to win championships. They go where they feel they have the best chance of winning one which is why Alabama has stayed near the top in recruiting since Saban has been there. Florida, Auburn, LSU and even Tennessee can point to BCS Championships and say to recruits: we've been there before and Georgia hasn't had championship in 35 years; they clearly aren't capable. Why would you want to go there?

I honestly believe if we could somehow get over the hump and at least get into the playoffs, it would benefit our program tremendously in recruiting. It would be something to point to showing that we are an up and coming football program instead of our usual 3rd, 4th or 5th best team in the SEC.

Not losing to inferior opponents like FL and USCe so we can be legit, dominant contenders for our own conference championship would help.
