After naming a top five back in the summer, No. 5 rated offensive tackle Jean Delance has re-shaped his recruiting focus as signing day approaches. Scout caught up with Delance for the latest news...

Jean Delance, a 6-foot-6, 280-pound offensive tackle fom Mesquite (Texas) North and his Stallion teammates had an amazing 14-13 second round playoff win on Saturday night at AT&T Stadium over Killeen (Texas) Shoemaker.

After the game Delance fired off a quick recruiting update. He had named a top five back in the summer of Alabama, Ohio State, Michigan, Texas and Texas A&M, but his focus and favorites list has shifted since that time.

"Ohio State is definitely out of it. I have got Alabama, LSU, Michigan and Texas," Delance said of his recruiting list. Delance confirmed that Ohio State is out of it and also so is Texas A&M.

"I loved the atmopshere with the coaches, but they didn't pursue me as much as I thought that they would," Delance confirmed.

Delance and North Mesquite are in the playoffs for the first time in eight years and have advanced past the second round for the fist time in 15 years.

The elite offensive tackle was set to take an official visit to Michigan to see the Wolverines face off against Ohio State, but after advancing in the playoffs he confirmed he will postpone that visit.

Next week they will face off against Austin (Texas) Westlake in the Regional Semifinals.

Delance announced will be making his decision during the broadcast of the Under Armour All-America Game on January 2nd earlier in the week.

Now in its 9th year, the annual Under Armour All-America game gathers the nation's top high school football talent and is played at the Citrus Bowl in Orland, Fla

More than half of the 5-star prospects in 247Sports' 2016 composite rankings remain uncommitted as we creep toward 10 weeks until national signing day. Many of these elite talents have spent at least two years under the microscope as coveted collegiate recruits, creating intrigue as their decision-making processes approach a conclusion.

Some top talents have played things close to the vest throughout, while others actually spent time committed to programs before reopening recruitments. Each one of these players will be expected to contribute early in some capacity, arriving at campuses across America with immense expectations in place.

Key university visits and inevitable high-profile coaching changes could dramatically alter the landscape moving forward. Based on where things stand now, here are our predictions for where each uncommitted 5-star prospect will land next season.

This will be spread out over the next few posts.
