AGAIN.. WE ARE COMPARING CLEMSON TO COLUMBIA... NOT COLUMBIA TO THE ENTIRE UPSTATE. What part of this do you not understand?

Clemson is in Clemson, SC. Not Greenville, which is 45 minutes away.

The fact that you keep talking about what you can do in other cities not named "Clemson" shows me that my argument is already valid.

lol, well as far as eating out or shopping goes, ANderson is part of Clemson. It is about as far from Columbia to the mall in irmo, for Clemson students to drive to Anderson. I'm assuming the mall is what you are talking about when you say "more to do". lol Because I can play golf in Clemson, tennis, basketball, go to pool, go to gym etc.

the main drag in Anderson is called Clemson Blvd

Clemson is closer to mountains than Columbia is to the beach or mountains. Whitewater rafting right up the road on the Chattooga river, can go hiking in Table Rock, go mountain biking on Isaqueena trail right near Clemson, go boating on hartwell and the other pristine lakes, etc.

Cola is better for metrosexuals who like shopping and wear hair gel. Real men who like being outdoors prefer a Clemson. There is no wrong answer, just a preference.

Another thing you can do in Clemson, walk to the the stadium that is right on campus, rather than drive through an industrial area to go to a stadiiumn right on an interstate. lol
