In all honesty, did it even need renovation? I remember when I took the tour in HS, the tour guide kept saying it was one of the newest and largest Rec centers in the state of Texas. They also had the largest indoor rock climbing facility (I spent some time at Baylor my junior year and they claimed to have taken the #1 spot...frick em).
