Always looking for new markets and new potential for revenue.

Then you're on the wrong board.

People here discuss athletic endeavors. When we talk about what teams we would like to see our team play regularly, we don't really care about revenue as much as match ups on the field.

I'm sorry if you have no clue as to why someone would rather play FSU or Clemson on the reg over a team like Appy State, or Old Dominion.

well I started the thread and I say its for talking about adding schools in new states and not some wish list of schools in states the SECN is already in thus will never ever happen.

So you can kindly get out and find a different thread to cry in.

Lol. People here discuss thinly veiled dick waving. There is no higher purpose, no high road to walk. The intention of the board is to discuss SEC football, of which the revenue needed to support the 14 programs is a part of that.

What team plays who is COMPLETELY different than getting in a PARTNERSHIP with those programs. People can care about playing whoever they want to play. That is what OOC is for. Who is let into the SEC partnership is a much bigger thing.

I get your point: this is a jock forum so us business nerds can take our sport ruining beans and go count them somewhere else. What I think is funny about that is the fact that if the SEC made poor expansion decisions, and was the worst paid Power 5 conference because of those decisions (that was a possibility prior to expansion), the same people who want FSU would be pissed when their recruits go to tOSU because SEC facilities are behind everyone else. If you care about your program being worth a damn you care about the money.

College football is no longer a bunch of regional vacuums, it is a national sport with a major following worth billions of dollars. The cost of putting the wishes of football nerds first isn't insignificant, and therefore any TRUE SEC fan would want what option is best for the league and that isn't FSU, Clemson, or any program already in the SEC footprint.
