He is the new defensive coordinator at your school, so he has to get his face out there. Chief is a no-nonsense guy and doesn't like the bullshite that comes from 17-18 year olds. He's happy to be at a&m, and will recruit, but it gets old to him fast...

I think people are misunderstanding the whole "Chavis doesn't recruit" thing. It's not that he doesn't get out of his house at all. The way he works is he lets the other assistants take care of the visits throughout the process then Chief shows up between Christmas and signing day. That's the way he operated at LSU for the most part.
