Sterling was remarkable. his NFL record setting seasons and pro bowls speak for themselves - HOF or not.

Big George with the Saints and later Redskins.
1981 NFL Rookie of the Year after being selected #1 overall by New Orleans. Rogers led the NFL in rushing his rookie season with 1674 yards, setting a new NFL record. 7176 career yards and 54 touchdowns in 7 seasons.
