Darion Anderson of Houston County got some news on a junior day visit to Georgia on Saturday in the form of offer from the Bulldogs.

“It was pretty exciting, it kind of surprised me” Anderson said.

Mark Richt told the 6-foot-1, 170 pound athlete while in his office in a meeting.

“I was shocked to hear it and from him, I thought if I got one I would hear it from somebody else,” he said.

A few things stood out to Anderson on the trip he says.

“Just how the coaches were and how they made it feel like home there.”

With his offer sheet climbing there is no timetable on a decision but could happen before the season starts.

“I am trying to commit before my senior season right now that is the plan,” he said.

Anderson admits he did not grow up a Georgia Bulldog fan but left Athens impressed.

“To be honest I was never really a Georgia fan, but after being there, it is so nice.”

When asked who he grew up a fan of Anderson replied “Ohio State.”

Anderson said the UGA offer was at wide receiver and that is the position he wants to play.

At this time he says no one is on top for him.

Hahahaha...now AU is saying grades were the reason they didn't "accept" Chidi. It was bullshite to them when we said the same thing but all of a sudden when they don't land him it must be true.

Just a heads up, be careful with posting all the premium info word for word. You can paraphrase it, but years ago (before DR was shutdown and everyone dumped over here) Chicken and the mods banned a bunch of folks because they were C&P'ing premium articles, which are copyrighted. Not trying to be a dick, just giving you a heads up. Just paraphrase it.
