The only issue in this transaction was in your funny - the purchase of a Jockey. So the ability to, and wisdom of such an acquisition of the jockey is the only salient issue. The addition of the horse is irrelevant and more of a red herring in the OP's post, although I doubt realization of this was remotely contemplated.

Logically, taking out the "smack" and stipulating that indeed a horse was not bought or even comtempleted in the transaction, I propose that the OP clearly stated that A&M made an excellent and perhaps rustled the "jimmies" of one OP. To bring a horse into the analysis of the impact of the addition of a Jockey to the Stables is a desperate and I dare say nonsensical panic of a response.
