We know your whole life revolves around that wish Chavis is all of a sudden a hall of famer because you guys signed him.
I don't think he's a hall of famer.
I said a couple of times during the search that he wasn't at the top of my DC wish list.
But as has been mentioned by my Aggie brethren multiple times, we don't need a hall of famer DC.
At this point, an adequate one would be passable.
Our offense typically puts up enough points, that as long as we're not habitually in the defensive cellar, we should be ok.
Time will tell.

I actually don't think hes the right DC for you guys. As I said, his scheme pretty much revolves around beating your guy 1 on 1. This is part of why we have trouble with Bama's offense. You can't just match up man for man against every team.

With A&M's personnel I really don't see this working out but time will tell for sure.

In a few days I will either wish we had Chavis back or be very happy he is gone...I am not sure how someone could watch LSU the last two years and think Chavis is a slam dunk hire.
