Is the LSU fan base more fractional than others?

Not really. That wasn't my complaint.

Heck, your fanbase fragmentation is NOTHING compared to some others. Like Texas fans, who range from the moron who mows your lawn to a guy with three degrees that does your taxes. Or UF fans and how they can't decide if they want a major program or if they are above that, or if they are a basketball school or if they are above that. Or Notre Dame fans who dither between intense football knowledge and bandwagon mouthbreathers who mistakenly feel Catholic still matters as a demographic anywhere but Latin America in 2014.

As a group, LSU fans are pretty homogenous. That isn't the issue. The issue is that as a group the number one shared group characteristic is a very emotional perspective on the sport. That isn't even necessarily a bad thing, in fact it rocks if you are trying to troll LSU fans. It sucks for a conversation though, for the same reason why I won't talk politics with my wives's friends.

This thread is going great though, I am happy with the responses. So thank you all.

That's exactly what I'm talking about. How do you suggest an entire fan base get together and decide on something - and why would they?

That's the type of comment that comes from group-think.

They seem pretty split on whether to keep Miles or not.

They also seem pretty split on whether losing Chavis was a good thing or a bad thing.

It seems I see the LSU fan base referred to as 'schizo' more often than any other.

So answer my question. Where does Aggie D need to rank next for you to feel like 1.7 mill was worth it?

Condescending bullshite from the dude who couldn't recognize the obviously spurious argument of offense ranked 7, defense ranked 3, therefore offense was the greater impediment to success in said season. And even after 2 posters spelled it out for you.

This is the most passive aggressive OP ever.
