Yepp. Thanks Dave and thanks Bogie for the link. Is a good story. It's guys like that that I wish I had the chance to sit down and just listen to for hours.

I didn't know who he was until I saw him in the clip shared in the '60 thread.
It's funny, we as fans care so much about kids who have never (and may never) put on the Mizzou uniform.
Yet we don't know who this guy is, a trailblazer, one of the horses on arguably the best (most successful) Mizzou team ever, not to mention a great guy (seemingly) and he's largely an unknown to Mizzou fans.
Not saying recruiting isn't where the fun's at, just found it interesting that this guy is such an unknown.
It's funny, we as fans care so much about kids who have never (and may never) put on the Mizzou uniform.

And that's a shame. Truly. But I also think the University, for quite a while, did a miserable job of including or even using it's history as it's strength. Not just this guy, but for the most part, you never heard of many former athletes stumping for the school or the school using them to push for the future.
I think the University has seen that it's failed to do this to the extent it could and is trying to fix that. Heck, you even see Norm at more functions than ever before.

For the diehards, they know who he is. for the fair weather fans who only follow Mizzou now because Mizzou wins some games, they don't have a clue.
