Meh, I see absolutely nothing wrong with it. It's a public display for visitors. Has anybody ever seen the pics have made with various statues and landmarks in DC? Having some fun. Spray painting, derogatory messages on there, etc may be a bit over the top but this is harmless and I, and 99.99% of Bama fans would have smiled and kept walking or took pictures of it themselves. Updyke, no but most SEC fans in general are just pretty common people. Comments about the south, well they've been doing this for 200 years and will never stop. I'd take the south over Ohio any day but that doesn't mean everybody would. I hate Miami, Memphis and the ATL but I know folks that like it. I'm glad they stoped to visit the man. This is a non-issue with everybody except non- Bama fans. 99.99% of us, We frankly couldn't care less that they did this.
