The sec front office did not want the conference image to suffer.
A big 12 team serving an arse whoopin to Bitch Jones would hurt the conference image. And may hurt viewership or playoff chances for teams in the future.
Now if Baylor were to schedule LSU the front office would undoubtedly approve that matchup.

Looks like the conference made a great decision. Baylor spanking UT on the heels of TCUs beat down of Ole Miss would devastate the conferences image to where 2 SEC teams in the playoff debate would be readily dismissed.
