Harbaugh will be defined by what he will do at Michigan, if he goes there.
Certainly his years at Stanford and San Diego warrant merit, but it's not hall of fame level. Same for his tenure at the 49ers.
He'll have the ball in his hands to see what Michigan brings. If he does well, kudos to him.

3 straight NFC title games one of which was with Alex Smith. That alone may be HoF worthy.
