Yes, Arkansas is so darn dominant that in the 23 years since they joined the SEC they have had the better SEC record 12 times and MSU 11 times. Arkansas' bowl record is 4-8 during that time, and MSU's is 6-4. Wow, two more bowl appearances, but State has 2 more wins. That Arkansas program is dominating compared to State.

It's easy to cherry pick stats, but Arkansas has obviously been more successful since joining the SEC than State has in its entire history.

LSU fans loathe all coaches, except the one that used them as a "stepping stone".

In the past... Yes. Now, no. And everybody knows we're not stepping stones it just hurts for some to admit it. It's a new day boys.

I hated Nick when he was at LSU.
Would consider State a stone but not Ole Miss. Mullins should stick it out though.

From a Mississippi boy, the main problem for the Mississippi schools isn't at the college level, it's at the grade school level. Both Mississippis have the potential to be destination schools just like LSU or Bama. There's abundant local talent, and a strong cultural support for all things football. But the state's educational standards and promotion of academics at the grade school level are so fricked up that a considerable portion of that talent falls to the wayside before ever qualifying for college. Until the nabobs in Jackson start caring more about real issues than about populist social drivel and lining their own pockets, the Mississippi schools will remain stepping stones.

Cherry pick stats? I'm talking about SEC standings. That's W's and L's. What is cherry picking about that? Since they joined in 1992, they have had 11 winning seasons, and State has had 12. The Croom years make everyone assume our program sucked longer than it did. Historically speaking, Arkansas is better, but since they've been in the same conference it's almost equal. Period. The standings say so.

The OP accomplished what he was after. You won't sway anyone here because regardless of what you say they will just change the narrative. Yeah but y'all used to suck......yeah but those teams sucked when you beat them. Nothing changes in that regard. shite gets tired but that's the way it is.
State fans have every reason to be proud of what is happening in Starkville.
And Stone Hog is just angry he isn't a girl. I have never seen a man argue and disagree as much as that 'guy'.
