The writing is on the wall. Just check other teams schedules throughout the conference.

Florida vs UMASS(Sep 3)
Missouri @ West Virginia(Sep 3)
South Carolina vs East Carolina(No date, supposedly Sep 3)
Tennessee vs App State(vs Va Tech Sep 10)

Alabama vs USC(Sep 3, Green Bay)
Arkansas vs La Tech(Sep 3, TCU is also scheduled)
Auburn vs Clemson
LSU vs Wisconsin(Sep 3, Green Bay)
Mississippi State vs South Alabama
Ole Miss vs Florida State(Sep 5, Orlando)
Texas A&M vs UCLA(Sep 3)

Kentucky, Vandy...no one cares

The only other teams that could even slip into the game is Florida and Mississippi State. Florida is allergic to going out of state in non-conference play, and Mississippi State isnt known for out of conference scheduling, and I doubt they would be a big draw for the game and for the committee.

Now who we would play is another question. If they want to us a ACC team, then only Miami and North Carolina makes sense. FSU, Clemson, and Virginia Tech already have big games scheduled, and Louisville will be in the game in 2015. Miami has no game scheduled that day, and has Notre Dame, Florida Atlantic, and Florida International scheduled. North Carolina only has Illinois scheduled for that season.

Other potential teams are Kansas State(no major game scheduled), and maybe Stanford. Every other major program has games scheduled, so some maneuvering would have to take place to get any other team.

Personally, I see us playing Miami that day.

Ain't nothin' like a Green Bay Double Header to kick off the SEC season.
