UPS often hands off packages to the USPS, especially this time of year.
They do this all year round. Ups will do all the work. Load/unload/transit. Then ups delivery guy just hands it off to post office once its in the same zip code.
Teamsters at ups was trying to change this since it was taking away jobs at ups.

I ordered a saw online Wed and it was supposed to ship UPS. Now they are telling me they shipped it on USPS. I am pissed. It might get here by New Year's and there might be something in the box.

If you ship ground anything (Fedex, UPS, USPS) this time of year then you're not getting your shite on time.

Would have thought something bought on the 10th would be just out of the danger zone.

FedEx employees like to steal stuff that's not insured, especially if it says computer in the description. So if you use fedex buy the ins.

This was through Amazon but from a different seller so Amazon won't help me here.
You sure about that? I've gotten a refund from Amazon for a third party seller not delivering on time.
