I'm really not sure how to respond to this
2001 Miami could have easily lost 2 games that season. They came within a hair's breadth of losing to Boston College and Virginia Tech. Just because they had all of that NFL talent doesn't mean they always played well as a team. The legend of the unstoppable '01 Hurricanes has grown substantially over the years, largely due to its many star players achieving greatness in the NFL. But they were far from unbeatable. They played like absolute crap at times.
Meanwhile, you have '95 Nebraska who rolled over every team on its schedule - before blowing away a very worthy Florida team in the Fiesta Bowl.

i agree that nebraska 95 is the goat of all time and its indisputable. I partially agree with your assessment of 01 miami. they did struggle in a few games, however, the talk of their potential GOAT status didnt start when all their players were successful in the nfl years later, it started when they beat syracuse and washington in back to back weeks by like 120-14.
Miami 01's major flaw was coaching. Coker was garbage. Alabama 11 would match up a lot better against other all time teams because of Saban; LSU not so much because their qb play was downright awful and Les Miles gameplan in the bcs title game was just disgraceful.
However, at the end of the day, Miami 01 is easily the most talented team of all time, they sported a defense on par with 08 usc and the 2011 lsu and alabama teams. Offensively, they were much better than either LSU or alabama and its really not close. They had one of the top 3 offensive lines I've ever seen, nfl talent at every skill position, and Dorsey was a heisman runner up.
