You're still talking about one year at one school, and one title appearance in the NFL, which he lost. And no one here is comparing Harbaugh to a guy winning some conference going 8-4. People are trying to compare him to the best.

And as of right now Harbaugh is 2-0 or 1.5-.5 against Saban at comparable situations.

No one is "trying".

He is comparable. Saban at Bama is not a fair comparison to any coach at Stanford.

We can revisit all of this if he takes the Michigan job. Because we both know he would turn that program around in about 1-2 seasons.
