He went 6-6 with Shula players.

The 12-0 was after signing the best class in SEC history which contributed a LOT that year.

Jones and Hightower were the only two freshmen that started, and ingram the only other one that got meaningful playing time. That's 3 out of 22 that were major contributors in '08. The rest were Shula guys that he got to buy in.

He beat a few teams with equal or greater talent in '08, some easily. Those guys were tough as nails, that's coaching.
