This might be the break Stoops needs to move up in the SEC. For years, Kentucky usually was on about the same level as S. Carolina, Ole Miss and Mississippi St. and would win about as many as they lost to those teams, and could usually get 2-3 SEC wins a year unless they were just terrible. Spurrier's hire changed this and moved USC up. This is really a case of water finding its level, however.
