Remember when we played the sorry teams early in the season and we were shooting the ball early in the shot clock, moving, getting good early shots? What happened when the chips were down? Grant told them to hold the ball at the top of the key until we were under 10 seconds on the shot clock and we never got a good shot.
Hale scored with just over 5 minutes left to put us up by 11. (Hale was the leading scorer last night). Grant promptly takes him out to put in our defensive stopper (who can't score anything other than a layup) Retin, because he thinks we have enough points to win.
We have the ball and are down 1 with plenty of time, and this doofus has no idea how to draw up a play so we get no timeout and almost a turnover.
After 2 (TWO!) timeouts (1 by us, 1 by them) our inbounds play with 1.2 seconds left was a 22 foot 3 by Rodney Cooper? With Levi running to the far side of the court? I said it after our 1 tourney trip. The guy has no idea how to draw up a play to get a good shot when we need it. He's refused to hire somebody and let them do it.
