So it isn't stripping strength, it is trying to account for it. Let's just say if you don't know what they do and how they do it (weighted by some way using some formula), we probably shouldn't be relying on it as a metric.

I know what it does and how it does it..........

And by strip I meant it strips out opponents by creating a number that is opponent independent, which is used by a method of weighted average. I don't go in and audit their figures but I understand the basic philosophy behind how it is concocted.
