I can't tell you how many State fans told me after last year that y'all had the better year than us just because y'all won the Egg Bowl and finished with one less win.
ETA: Also, little bros don't typically have a 19 game lead in a series.

I was disappointed, but way more so because we were eliminated from playoff contention rather than losing to Ole Miss. 10 wins is very impressive and a feat that OM won't accomplish in the foreseeable future, and losing the Egg Bowl isn't going to change that.

This year isn't close. We beat LSU and Auburn in the exact same scenarios, and we beat a team that blew y'all out by 30. Anything can happen in a rivalry game, especially when given home field advantage. Congrats on the W, but State had the better season and its not really even close.
