Not sure if you know how stats work. Ever heard of confounding numbers? Statistical difference?

Some statistics that aren't yards related.

Alabama 2011: 13 ints, 7 fumble recoveries, 30 sacks, 85 tackles for loss

LSU 2011: 18 ints, 12 fumble recoveries, 39 sacks, 106 tackles for loss

LSU also had 4 defensive players with 9 tds compared to Alabama's 4 defensive players with 4 tds.

Also adding playing 2 high powered offenses in Oregon and West Virginia, yards don't mean everything.
