It won't be Pelini.

wow, it's like theres an echo in here or something!

Peelini is definitely a non starter, even though he would be the best defensive coach MU has had since Al Onofrio's days.

I'd be a little surprised if Kul doesn't want the promotion, but if he doesn't then he doesn't. He will still be the next Assistant HC at Mizzou, or should be, assuming Pinkel doesn't promote his nephew instead..

Kul seems like he has the mind for the job, he's good motivationaly with his own unit, he played both offense and defensive line in college. He started football late switching from band to football in HS so he picked up the game quickly. Everything I've read and seen from him says he's the most capable and should be next in line on the staff and we know Pinkel likes to maintain his circle of trust.

Hill is already an Asst HC, there is no reason Kul wouldn't be the next one, assuming he want's it, and even IF he didn't take the DC job. On TB they were pushing the idea of Odom and Kul as co-DC's, in this case that might actually work, the money would probably be "close enough" and Kul and Odom have worked together before.

Odom article

Not so much about the Mizzou position or anything but more talking about his prospects as a head coach and the job he has done at Memphis.
