We just disagree here. Three of the final four have one loss. Five of the top six have one loss with arguments.

I am not saying they got it wrong, but every year this is going to burn at least one conference. It should not take long for expansion talk to grow. I am ambivalent about 4 or 6 or 8.

I just think it is only a matter of time until it expands.

My argument against the playoff, from the beginning, was that I don't want it to be a mini-nfl. I love college football as it is (or was). The only reason it can co-exist with the NFL and be as popular as it is is because it is different. I don't like the NFL. I don't want to watch a bunch of 8-8 teams competing for a championship. The more teams we add, the more it will turn into a "who's hottest now?" competition. The regular season will eventually mean very little. At that point, I'll be done with football.
